This course is divided into three main themes: relations between major powers and Southeast Asia, each Southeast Asian country’s foreign policy, and ASEAN. The first part includes three sub-themes: United States, China, and Japan's relationship with South-East Asia. The second part introduces foreign policies of seven countries in Southeast Asia’s each foreign policy (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, and Myanmar). The last part focuses on ASEAN’s institutional structure, divided into areas of security cooperation and economic cooperation.
